Please join us tomorrow evening (9/7 6:30pm) at our first Dad’s club meeting in the in the Parrish Hall at SMA.

The mission of the dad’s club is to support the school by filling in where we can to help the school and build our SMA community. Here are some examples of activities and events by the Dad’s club.

· Annual golf tourney (too be held in the Spring this year)

· Pancake Breakfasts – Back to School family breakfast 10/2/11

· Parents Night Out – Disco in ’10, wine/beer tasting ’11?

· School yard clean ups

· Bartenders for PTO events

· Poker Night

· Coaches Appreciation Dinner

Our activities are focused on promoting SMA community, having fun and raising fudns for extras around the school. Some of the contributions we have made through our fundraising and work.

· The SMA kiln for pottery class.

· Uniforms for parrochial sports.

· Many technology upgrades for the classrooms.

· $$$$ donation to the junior yard playground.

· Clasroom reorganizations, schoolyard cleanups and soon planting trees in the junior yard.

Our meetings focus on planning of upcoming events and involves eating, drinking and vocal discussion.
